An outfit with both Bristolian and Brummie roots, the boys found themselves congregate during Sheffield university freshers to become the force you see today. Praised for their unassuming charm and 'say it as it is' lyrical approach, the band has started to see the growth of a loyal fan base. A collective love for indie pop and surf rock laid the foundations for the bands sound; with nods towards the likes of Circa Waves, Hockey Dad and The Night Cafe.
Exiled are headed by boisterous front man and script Max Clutterbuck, who's relatable lyrics find the perfect companion in lead guitarist Jack Berry. The band is completed by Henry Robinson, who's melodic bass lines intertwine seamlessly with the beats of lifelong friend and drummer Ethan Reeves.
Praised by BBC Introducing for writing relatable songs strewn with catchy hooks and ear worm riffs; Exiled's guitar led sound tell tales of the good times, rough nights and growing up. 2018 saw the band release three brand new singles; one of which being billed as BBC Introducing in Sheffield's 10th favourite track of the year. Described by Sheffield Introducing's Christian Carlisle as "beautiful", the bands latest single 'Luna' sees Exiled step out and lay the path for whats to come.
